Palladium Pro
Palladium Pro
Proprietary Alloy By Ringslab
First time ever, an alloy designed that address the limitation of Platinum and 14k. Platinum is durable but is vulnerable to dents and 14k attracts no dents but its brittle.
The Ringslab's Palladium Pro is designed to have benefits of both the worlds with 2 noble elements coming together, Gold and Palladium, the alloy becomes durable and highly scratch proof, making it a top choice for the ring.
Other benefits are describes as follows.
1. Hypoallergenic (No Skin Irritation)
The Benefit: Since palladium is a pure "noble metal" and typically 95% pure (PD950), it is naturally nickel-free.
The Result: The nickle based alloys are cheap and if your skin is allergic to nickel you will get reaction on skin. The palladium powered alloys are safe for anyone.
2. Isovolumetric (Better Metal Retain)
The Benefit: When the ring gets scratched or dinged from daily wear, the metal isn't actually scraping off. Instead, the metal just gets pushed aside or displaced.
The Result: This ensures the ring doesn't thin out over time too early.
3. Fracture Toughness (Security for Diamond)
The Benefit: Palladium is from platinum family, the material is more durable than gold or nickel. It won't crack or break easily like the 14k nickel based alloys.
The Result: If a prong is struck, it is more likely to bend slightly rather than snap off, keeping the diamond secure. It provides superior Security for your Diamond.
4. Native Luster (The Rhodium Factor)
The Benefit: One of the primary benefits of palladium is that it actually eliminates the need for rhodium coating. Naturally White, Palladium is white all the way through. It does not need a coating to look bright.
The Result: If you are using palladium inside a white gold alloy, it acts as a "bleaching agent." In this case, the white gold stays white much longer compare to nickel based alloys.
Your ring made more safer, shiner and stronger.
